The Winter Soldier program turned James Barnes into a living weapon. Now, he's becoming a threat to those who created him, as well as the world at large. On one side: The Avengers, proud protectors of the world and defenders of justice since their first assembled during World War II and led by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios' "Captain America: Civil War." Picking up where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off, "Captain America: Civil War" returns Chris Evans ("Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel's The Avengers," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier") as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America along with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon and Paul Bettany as the media-shy Howard Stark. Alongside them are a slew of new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Chadwick Boseman ("Get on Up," "42"), Emily VanCamp ("Shades of Blue," "Revenge"), Don Cheadle ("Bleach," "House of Cards") and Tom Holland ("The Impossible"). Directors Anthony and Joe Russo ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") bring the film to life using the script written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. Kevin Feige is producing with Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
